Jude Mathis is a young boy taking his education to become a doctor. Both of his parents are doctors and that is probably the reason that he took the same path as his parents did.

When you meet Jude Mathis  the first time, the first impression you'd get is that Jude is such a polite, composed and humble guy. He'd certainly give you a good respond and keep the conversation smooth. With such attitude, one would expect Jude as a cheerful, mature and kind person. But that is not nearly correct.

Sure, he is levelheaded and able to follow through any complex level of conversation. That probably what gives you an impression for Jude as a mature minded. This isn't quite right. Jude is notably smart, even probably genius, despite  his young age. He is heavily analytical and precise. He is also sensitive and able to read through the unseen—or more exactly things other people tend to skip or hardly notice. He likes to observe, gather and absorb information then thoroughly match the possible related ones to get a conclusion. And, this is why he could keep at conversations, even if they are complicated even for an adult to understand.

Jude is young.That's why, despite his high-level intelligence, it is not really strange to find him being immature. His mental strength is his biggest weak point. The first to begin to describe is that he isn't able to decide what he'd actually like to do. He has no firm goal, and he is full of doubts. Therefore, he is fickle and easily distracted. The worst thing he might face is that he would be easily deceived and be used. Moreover, he has a large amount of curiosity, as expected from a smart head. This curiosity often drives him blind from everything else and makes him lost of his composed self, as he will become so eager to chase them even everywhere. This example would be Milla Maxwell. When he met Milla the first time, he was tempted to follow her out of curiosity, which grew to a concern and ended up being obsessed about her.

It is not only his curiosity that made him being reckless. Jude is nice and likes to help others. When he catches someone is in trouble, he'd act immediately and let them consult him for help. He's willing to do anything to help them. Even though this seems like a positive trait, it is actually bad because when Jude decides to help, he is often oblivious of what consequences he has to face and the impact he might cause for the rest in his surroundings. He was being warned by Milla for this point. This shown when he insisted to help Elise Lutus and take a good care of her, even though others were definitely against his choice and Elise herself.

In term of demeanor and how he behaves to others, Jude is definitely warm and accepting. Even if you're a bad guy, if you somehow approach him with correct attitude, he won't ditch you. He also tends to pay attention to what his friends might need. He likes to take care of others. He priors other safety first, and he likely will protect them. Jude dislikes conflict and that is why he always maintains well attitude towards other and rarely he'd offense others without particular reason. Even if he gets angered, he'd try to solve it without any violence needed at the firsthand. Of course, fighting with others isn't his preference, but he'd still do it when he feels he is obligated to. Jude's mother once said that Jude was a nice boy and never got himself into a fight, but when he saw his friend was in trouble, he came to rescue him, even though he ended up fighting and getting injured. One could also say that he stands a bit toward timid side, and he'd probably put others in higher pedestal when they are being his acquaintances. Jude is also perceiving, and this is definitely also what others would expect from an analytical thinker. He rarely jumps into judgement without having a sight of the matter and make a thorough analysis.

When it comes to romance, he is not particularly a good one. Leia Rolando, his childhood friend definitely has crush on him and others could easily tell it. However, Jude isn’t aware of that  and he keeps his relationship with Leia remains the same way as they were in childhood, full of cat-fights and so on. He is also notably being cynical only to her, as shown from his attitude when Leia finally joined him and Milla in their journey. But, actually he is worrying about her even if he doesn't say it.

In term of physical ability, Jude is strong. He fights with fists and mastered martial arts. He is a formidable opponent. Though, he's only really good in close combat battle and doesn't have a necessarily decent abilities to allow him fight on wider or longer range. Jude able to use strikes which come up from the utility of mana energy, but not particularly magic attacks. His agility is probably one thing his opponent should anticipate. He is quick. At defense, he is decent. But not sturdy enough. Though, he is a combat medic so he is able to heal for a good amount of health. He doesn't need to cast a magic healing spell as well so he'd heal faster than other.

In term of mental strength, he is considered weak. When things messed up on the level he couldn't get himself with, he'd probably become less composed and became reckless. This could make him wide open for an attack to penetrate, literally or not.

Jude is smart. Therefore, a strategy battle could suit well with him. When he got in pinch, he could summon his own escape way using his intelligence.

Jude is a good chef and he can cook delicious dishes.
